CERTAINTY
Assalamualaikum. Its Wednesday, mid of second week in the New Year 2018. During Christmas and New Year's holiday, I was thinking about what exactly I am looking for in my life? Why I am here? How I end up here? What after this? I am in my 17th month in this journey. Yet, I am still can't live my day to day peacefully. Instead, I keep thinking what have I done since the last 17 months? Recently, I came to a conclusion that I am lacking certainty in my heart, in my mind and in my action. Certainty means a firm conviction that something is the case. Certainty is the mental state of being without doubt. Certainty is a general air of confidence. And most importantly and sadly, I am lacking of certainty in what Allah SWT has planned for me. All of us have faith in Allah, the Angels, the Day of Judgment, but we lack the certainty in Allah SWT. Life is about making choices on what we should do and what we should not.
